In the aftermath of the cruel and disturbing murder of George Floyd at the hands of law enforcement many have been looking for opportunities to be part of the change we want to see in the world. The protests helped bring national attention to the issue, but there are still a lot you can do to make your voice heard even if you're not comfortable taking to the streets due to COVID-19.

We explored this topic for our June Happy Hour event, below is the presentation we shared for that virtual event. It includes organizations to follow, sample letters to write on specific legislation that's under consideration, and contains the contact info for our legislators at the local, state & federal level.

Along with all our favorite places being closed, a lot of us are stuck  at home. This is good for stopping the spread of the Coronavirus, but also has the hidden consequence of an increase in instances of domestic violence. Victims are more isolated and have  limited opportunities to seek help.
